The Curaçao GCB is finalising its licence overhaul. Every casino we rate has confirmed the new licence structure — here's what changes and what doesn't for UK players.

The transition from Curaçao’s older master-licence system to direct GCB licences is now largely complete. Every offshore casino we cover has confirmed its new licence number, which we’ve verified against the GCB register.

What changes for players: licence numbers now identify the operating company directly rather than a master licensee, making it faster to establish who is legally responsible for a brand. Complaint escalation still flows through the GCB, but the paper trail is cleaner.

What does not change: UKGC-licensed brands remain your route to UK-specific dispute mechanisms. If UKGC protection is your priority, use a UK-licensed casino. Offshore licensing offers legitimate, verifiable regulation — but not the same UK statutory recourse.
